Estela Olevsky –Eugenie Malek – Meg Kelsey Wright – Deborah Gilwood
The Event: Literally “joining hands”, four pianists; Estela Olevsky, Eugenie Malek, Meg Kelsey Wright, Deborah Gilwood, present a special concert of four-and eight-hands piano music from a wide range of styles and composers. Several of the composers whose music you will hear, including Dvořák, Rachmaninoff, and Piazzolla, were also immigrants to the U.S. They pursued their dreams while enriching this nation with their talents and traditions.
When & Where: Sweeney Auditorium, Smith College, Friday, June 15, 7:30 p.m.
Where the Money Goes: All proceeds will support free English classes and other services for immigrants and refugees offered by Internation Language Institute and Center for New Americans.
Tickets: Can be purchased here, beginning May 1st. General tickets $25 and Student/Senior Tickets $15. Tickets are also available in advance through the State Street Fruit Store (Northampton), Cooper’s Corner (Florence), and at Hasting’s (Amherst).
