30 Poems in November! is a literary fundraiser for Center for New Americans. Center for New Americans welcomes and serves immigrants in Western Massachusetts with free English classes and a range of support services. In a moment when the world feels like it's burning, It's important for me to think of ways I can help. As an educator who works with recent immigrants, I have seen them struggle to navigate a new language and culture. Resources to help folks learn and adjust are indispensable, and I hope the poems I write and share will inspire friends and families to contribute to a fantastic organization.
