Hello Friends and Family, I am participating in a fundraising challenge that benefits the Center for New Americans in Northampton, MA, which is an organization that supports immigrants and asylum seekers in our community. I am pledging to write 30 poems in November (one each day) and hope you will support me and this amazing organization! Over this past year I got more involved in the organization and spent several Saturdays helping CNAM students who were enrolled in a PCA certification course by supervising at their clinical site. These motivated folks will be joining the front line of health care after they receive their credentials. I loved getting to know a few of them, pictured here. There were students from Haiti, Senegal, Mexico, Syria, Congo and Guatemala. To think of all this energy infusing into our health care system is inspirational! Thanks for considering! Sarah
