I have decided to participate once again in 30 Poems in November! Our quest is write a poem a day and gather support for an extraordinary organization called Center for New Americans. CNA welcomes and supports immigrants in Western Massachusetts with free English classes and a range of other supportive services. Please, donate any amount you'd like (nothing is too small!) on this page to help CNA reach their goal, and spur me on in my daily poem promise.
Last year's November poetry fund raiser for Center for New Americans brought me two things ... an impactful way to help the immigrants arriving in the US in need of education and resources, and a breakthrough month of creativity that I deeply needed. I'm hoping that you all will join me again in raising a goal of $65,000 ... with an incentive gift that will be met at $65,000 and will match all gifts up to $35,000! Somehow twelve months has sped by and we're getting closer to a new year. Let's end 2021 with poems and donations made to an important and much-needed cause! Thank you so much!
