Once again for a fourth year I will bend my effort to assist the fund raising for the Center for New Americans. The Center serves immigrants in Western Massachusetts. Providing free English language courses and helping negotiate the legal and technical details of immigration--and lending general support and encouragement--are some of the crucial activities of the Center. This year promises to require even more services, given the considerable increase in refugees. I want to thank all of you who donated to the Center last year and hope this year enables you to continue the support. For my part I will attempt to provide a daily poem. If I miss a day, I ask your indulgence since I am in the middle of moving.
