Once again, I excited to be raising funds for the Center for New Americans by doing one of the things that gives me greatest satisfaction--writing poems.
During my years at New York City College of Technology teaching English to speakers of other languages, I saw how programs like the Center help immigrants make a home and a fulfilling life in this country. Now it is my turn to be support that good work.
