Immigrant Voices- A Celebration of Arts

Registration is closed for this event
Immigrant Voices: A Celebration of Arts showcases the talents and traditions of immigrants in Western Massachusetts. This event has been a joyous acknowledgement of our community’s rich diversity for the past five years.

Immigrant Voices: A Celebration of Arts includes songs, dances, and poetry shared by immigrant students, alumni, and friends of Center for New Americans.  It is an event that celebrates traditions from around the world.  This year's performances will take place online, given the current social distancing restrictions, but will still reflect our community's magnificent diversity.  It will include songs from Haiti, Mexico, and Cape Verde; dances from Costa Rica, Brazil, and Colombia, and drumming from Guinea and Senegal.Iran and Bulgaria, dances from Mexico, poems by writers from Venezuela and South Korea, and African drumming, and be co-produced by Quarantunes, a production of the Shea Theater Arts Center, Hawks & Reed, and the Stone Church in Brattleboro.
