I have just returned from a two week birding trip in Panama. One of our excursions began at a river town where a huge fenced in area was crowded with immigrant families from Central and South America. They will wait there for weeks in heat and torrential rain, locked in a bleak prison before being allowed to go north. They have left countries that offer no safety, no future, and are there in hope of a better life. 30 Poems in November is one way we can help. I hope you will join me in this campaign.
