I am happy to be again supporting the vital work of the Center for New Americans the fun way by writing a quick draft of a poem a day through November and hopefully having you chip in a contribution and enjoy the word play. This year I am again resorting to “exphrasis,” which sounds like an unpleasant medical procedure but is actually a fancy word for translating one medium to another , in my case, picture to poem. I will send a photo of a master work of art along with my stab at it. You can then feel free to DIY.
