Welcome to my poetry page. I am participating in 30 Poems in November, a poetry fundraiser to support Center for New Americans. I love this annual fundraiser because it raises money for a good cause and promotes the act of writing, from published poets to those of us who simply like to write.
The money raised by this campaign helps make many things possible for new immigrants in our communities, including English classes, legal assistance, and help finding jobs, housing, and childcare.

Acorns smack the road, the wood
