Once again I plan to write poems in support of CNAM and the services it provides to the immigrant community.
Although I now have moved to Maine, I still give time to a local agency serving newly arrived refugees. The need is great and seems to only get greater. In our current climate, I feel it is important to do whatever we can to make the transition refugees face as smooth as possible. The Center for New Americans does this for the Pioneer Valley. It requires substantial financial support to achieve success. So I encourage you to donate whatever you can--regardless of the quality of the poetry I may provide!
