I am honored to return as chairperson for another vital year of raising money to support Center for New Americans, which directly enhances the lives of immigrants and refugees in our community. CNAM offers free English lessons for students at every level, aids people in the naturalization process, and supports these individuals and families with navigating many other obstacles and opportunities in their new world.
This fundraiser is an offering to each of us to make meaningful changes in lives of people we know and people we've never met. Every donation, huge or not so huge at all, helps with the organizations expansion of buildings, teachers, and students we serve. I'm going to write a heck of a lot of poems and share some of them with you, yes, you! Think of it as a donation per poem, e.g. $1 per poem = $30 for the month. Or choose your favorite number or a number on a speed limit sign (especially the highways signs).
I am beyond grateful for your support for such an amazing, well run, efficient, and caring organization.
