I have decided to participate in a literary challenge called 30 Poems in November! Our quest is write a poem a day and gather support for an extraordinary organization called Center for New Americans. CNA welcomes and supports immigrants in Western Massachusetts with free English classes and a range of other supportive services. This year 30 Poems in November has a goal of raising $50,000. In 2020, I've struggled with my writing (ie: I didn't write at all and hadn't for three years), and an awful feeling of not being able to do enough to help others. There isn't much time left in this year of upheaval. I would love to finish the last two months having both waded back into what I have loved my whole life, and having done something to give 2021 a running start towards the hard work of healing.
