Hi, If you are reading this, you know I am participating in 30 Poems in November. Yes, there are fundraisers in abundance now. They are all important, as people band together to help one another. I am choosing to write & raise funds to help those immigrants in the programs at the Center for New Americans because support makes a difference in someone’s life.
I participated in this event some time ago. I felt connected to a whole new group of people, writers & immigrants enrolled in the Center. I honestly feel that connection to people, especially when you can offer some assistance, is very important. So, I know I can make a difference here & that feels really good. I lost track of the last days of October, so this event is important enough to me to grab my tablet, this early November first & hope to be included.
