‘30 Poems in November’ is a fundraiser for the Center for New Americans. The Center welcomes and serves immigrants and refugees in Western Massachusetts with free English classes and a range of support services, to help them find their place our community. I grew up in a family that helped, and often hosted new immigrants and refugees from around the world. I have known forever that people who come from other countries to make a new life in the United States are among our greatest assets.
