I think if we think about it as we move from one stage of our lives to another, we're all immigrants. We all have moments of uncertainty and grappling onto the next bit of what comes along, moments of wobbly. For most of us, we have friends and family helping us. But what if that journey were one which included not speaking the language and not knowing where to turn for help? CNA has this covered in so many ways. They're a wonderful organization and I am proud to support them. This is my third year being part of the challenge. Grateful to the writing community and to CNA for making this happen!

I hope you'll be one of the ones I send my poems to and that we get to do this journey together. This has been a tough fall for me. This shift with a commitment to writing a poem every day - it's such a lovely doorway to connecting, to be able to connect.
