As I recoil at violence and chaos in many parts of the world, and marvel at the abundance in my part of the world, I am reminded that with blessings comes responsibility. It has been so rewarding to extend a hand to people who take that simple gesture and build successful new lives. They are resilient, hard-working, and brave. All they need is a small assist and an open door.
