Civics Bee at Annual Meeting

Center for New Americans hosted our first Civics Bee at this year’s Annual Meeting. Sponsored by Mass Humanities and offered with support from Northampton Open Media, the Civics Bee featured local leaders Sen. Jo Comerford, D.A. Dave Sullivan, State Reps Mindy Domb and Lindsay Sabadosa, Northampton Mayor David Narkewicz, and Radio Host, Monte Belmonte, as well as Center for New Americans’ citizenship clients.  The meeting, offered both online and in-person, showcased program highlights and our 30 Poems in November! Chair, Sarah Sullivan, and Student Spokesperson, Bethie Jean Merci.
