Kwot Jay, alumnus, in the news
Kwot Jay, Center for New Americans alumnus (and current student at The Literacy Project), was featured in the Daily Hampshire Gazette for supporting a school he launched as a refugee in South Sudan. Kwot traveled through several countries to get to the U.S. He has done much since he arrived here, including serve on our DEI Taskforce, record his immigrant story for the Forbes Library Oral History Archives, and attend the Massachusetts Immigrant & Refugee Advocacy (MIRA) Coalition’s Immigrants Day at the State House this year with Center for New Americans.
