Celebrating Another Successful Academic Year

As the academic year draws to a close, we celebrate the achievements of our persistent students at Center for New Americans. They’ve attended classes while working (often more than one job and overnight shifts) and attending to family and other responsibilities. They have set and met goals, learning English, becoming more proficient with technology, getting library cards, helping children in school, and gaining a deeper understanding of civics and U.S. systems and culture.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our community partners. The welcoming environments provided by Forbes Library, Springfield Public Library, and the Greenfield Hampton Inn have been invaluable.

We also acknowledge the efforts of our colleagues and volunteers. Their dedication and hard work ensure that our students receive the best possible education and support.

As we celebrate the end of this academic year, we are also preparing for our Summer classes, which begin July 9th and continue through August 9th (June 25th through August 18 in Springfield).
