We persevere

Welcome back! I will be writing for 30 Poems in November this year, on behalf of the Center for New Americans. My friends, I hope that you'll support me to support them. It's been an exhausting year, and those people who have persevered in offering help, welcome, resources, and a community to newcomers to our shores are tired. But they keep on keeping on. I hope that you will too! Kathy

Center for New Americans has been welcoming and serving immigrants in Western Massachusetts since 1992. We teach free classes in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), digital literacy, civics, U.S. culture. We offer support services including connections to community resources and assistance finding employment. We also offer some immigration legal services, including assistance applying and preparing for U.S. citizenship, assistance with employment authorization and family petitions, and some humanitarian assistance. We rely on a small, dedicated staff, an engaged board of directors, generous volunteers and supporters, and public and private funding. 30 Poems in November! is one of our most important fundraisers every year.
