What the world needs now…

…is people from all over the world getting the support they need to make a new life here in this lovely valley. …is our grateful acknowledgement that immigrants help communities and countries thrive and grow. …is me writing and you giving to 30 Poems in November, the annual fundraiser of the Center for New Americans!

Center for New Americans has been welcoming and serving immigrants in Western Massachusetts since 1992. We teach free classes in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), digital literacy, civics, U.S. culture. We offer support services including connections to community resources and assistance finding employment. We also offer some immigration legal services, including assistance applying and preparing for U.S. citizenship, assistance with employment authorization and family petitions, and some humanitarian assistance. We rely on a small, dedicated staff, an engaged board of directors, generous volunteers and supporters, and public and private funding. 30 Poems in November! is one of our most important fundraisers every year.
