Make a difference with poetry

Welcome to my fundraising page! I am returning to raise funds again for a great cause. Parlez vous anglais? I have been studying French this year and have come to appreciate how challenging it can be to learn a new language and a new culture. Let us all cultivate empaty and support for our newest Americans who are working to learn English and settle into this country. Please donate what you can. Any amount is appreciated. Thanks!

Center for New Americans has been welcoming and serving immigrants in Western Massachusetts since 1992. We teach free classes in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), digital literacy, civics, U.S. culture. We offer support services including connections to community resources and assistance finding employment. We also offer some immigration legal services, including assistance applying and preparing for U.S. citizenship, assistance with employment authorization and family petitions, and some humanitarian assistance. We rely on a small, dedicated staff, an engaged board of directors, generous volunteers and supporters, and public and private funding. 30 Poems in November! is one of our most important fundraisers every year.
