Center for New American provides support for immigrants, refugees, migrants and asylum seekers in Western Massachusetts. 30 Poems In November is the annual event which supports its mission. I so excited to support this mission and raise money with my poetry for the next 30 days.
My dear friend Vanessa Adel ask me to join 30 Poems in November fund raiser. Initially, I did not want to take this on. My feeling was that I had so much on my plate so much to do and not enough time. Eventually, I realized that this was a very important and I needed to be part of creating something good. I hope my poems will shed light on this organization and all the wonderful things that it does. POETRY IS RESISTANCE!!
