In these chaotic times, as resources are stripped and instability grows, no community feels the impact more deeply than our immigrant neighbors. We are witnessing unlawful and violent attacks and abductions on those seeking safety and belonging. We cannot sit back and hope someone else will fix it.
This is why I am participating in the 30 poems in November, a fundraiser for the Center for New Americans of Western Massachusetts. Their work extends far beyond English lessons, providing legal services, citizenship support, and community education to help families rebuild their lives with dignity.
I invite you to join me. Donating just $1 per poem, $30 over the month of November. It may not seem like much but every contribution creates lasting change over time. Your support helps ensure that our immigrant and refugee neighbors receive the language and resources they need to thrive.
Thank you for being part of this change.
