My family immigrated from Taiwan to Turtle Island 60 years ago and faced many challenges we overcame due to the support of other immigrant families. I write in honor of my parents, my family and our beloved community. As we witness another wave of anti-immigrant, white supremacist attacks, we need to link arms and care for each other more than ever. I write to build community with other immigrants, refugees, forcibly displaced communities, people living in diaspora, and our many allies.
