After working at Center for New Americans for 25+ years, I can report that CNA changes lives. The changes occur over time with a collaborative approach. One example is M.B. As a recent Haitian newcomer in a shelter, he was unable to attend classes regularly and make progress with his language learning. He stepped out of class for a period of time. After getting support to obtain stable housing ( with a kitchen) and employment, he was able to return to English classes, attend regularly and is currently making big gains!
Center for New Americans walks with people as they encounter various barriers and obstacles. In this era of fear, Center for New Americans provides support, community, English language learning and legal services and referrals to resources in the region.
Join me in supporting CNA today! Thanks!
