Welcome friends! I am writing 30 poems in November to raise money for the Center for New Americans, who assist immigrants with their journey towards citizenship and offers free English classes. I'm proud to have been doing this challenge for many years now, and am astounded by both the generosity of donors and by all the writers' persistence in writing 30 poems in a month as well as continuing the deeply important support of Center for New Americans.
As the grandchild and great grandchild of immigrants, I am delighted to be able to participate again in this challenge. I intend to write 30 poems during the month of November this year, in concert with so many other poets from the Pioneer Valley and beyond. Thank you for your generous support!
