I'm a public educator and poet who grew up in Western Massachusetts. I believe that "poetry, like bread, is for everyone." I understand the kinds of resources and support that immigrants, migrants, and refugees need in order to feel at home, cared for, and self-sufficient, and I want to do whatever I can to support organizations like the Center for New Americans in their critical work to support these communities.
