This event is a beautiful and inspiring way to support the incredibly important work the Center for New Americans does with and for our immigrant community and therefore our entire community.
My goal is to raise $400 by writing a poem every day in the month of November. In these dark days of so much tearing down, I am honored to join others in a daily act of creating.
I’ve never written poems on the regular, let alone one a day for 30 days but love the challenge of spending a month living my life as Mary Oliver once instructed: "Pay attention. Be astonished. Tell about it."
