This is my fourth year of writing poems and asking for your support for the Center for New Americans, which provides English classes, citizenship support, and legal guidance for immigrants and refugees now calling western Massachusetts home. I’ve been spending lots of time working on immigrant support and protection this past year and I know the need is huge.
This year, I have a special project I’m working on: revising poems that will be part of my first-ever poetry collection. By the end of the month, I’ll share selected poems with you. Your contributions will give me moral support to do this work and, more critically, make possible the important work of the Center for New Americans.
