Poetry for change

I call myself "Fin" and I hope you'll join me by supporting The Center for New Americans. Can you remember when you needed help and someone, maybe a stranger, reached out? I believe in human rights, the rights of all and in sharing resources, collaborating on helping. And I write anyway....so I'll just push a bit harder. Let's begin to do some good work...

Thanks for visiting. We are all new Americans at some point. Each year or two or each decade we face new challenges; disabilities, hurdles of various sorts. What if we didn't know English, couldn't reach out to a network of care, find food, housing... help. This is our chance to help others we don't even know. It's a time of kindness and compassion. I'm in. What about you? Plus, we get to read (and write) poetry. What could be better?
