This year in November I'll be writing a poem per day in November to help support the wonderful Center for New Americans in Northampton and Amherst. I have been doing this every year since the first year it started! This year brings a warm welcome to our new chair, Nerissa Nields, who will be giving us prompts and encouraging us to write! Please give what you can to help this wonderful organization continue to teach English to immigrants and to help them on the path to U.S. citizenship.
Center for New Americans has helped so many people over the years to learn English and on their path to citizenship. Federal funds are no longer available. Please help them stay on their feet by any donation, small or large. As a gift of gratitude, I will send you a poem.
