30 Poems in November

I'm a poet who cares deeply about the world, which, right now (and always) is full of incredible suffering. Writing 30 poems in support of the Center for New Americans and the work they do in my community is a small gesture of love and that I can offer.

I write poetry to root deeper into the world—to connect, to become braver. Writing itself is never enough, but it is often the doorway into an infinity of imagined elsewheres, and a world built slowly through ongoing acts of resisntace and care.

I also write a semi-regular newsletter called Poetry School where I share what I'm thinking, feeling, and reading—often related to poetry, but not always. I'll likely be sharing some of the poems I write for this fundraiser there throughout the month.
