I'm so excited to be writing 30 poems again in the month of November to benefit the Center for New Americans! It has been a great way to help new immigrants and refugees to our area access services such as free English classes and help with the path to U.S. citizenship. My grandparents immigrated here from Ukraine in the early 20th century and I honor them with this fundraiser. I'll be writing as well as facilitating a workshop this year!
